Service changes During School Year 2026 - 2027
South Craven School, services 440 - 941 - 943 - B36 - B37 - B38 - S23 - S40
Effective from: Monday 2nd November 2026 after the October half term
Summary: to address ongoing punctuality issues caused by increased traffic congestion particularly in Steeton and Keighley, all the above services will be subject to new revised times AM and PM. The AM trips in particular will operate between five to ten minutes earlier than at present. There are no changes to the routes, only the times will change.

C35 Rastrick High School
Effective from: immediately.
Summary: there has been a slight change to the route taken between the school and Slade Lane due to parked cars and congestion in the Castle Avenue area. This revised route is already being followed and will now become permanent with the timetable amended accordingly. The revised route is:
PM: from school via Field Top Road, Field Lane, Tofts Grove, Delf Hill, Slade Lane and the current route thereafter.
S7 Ryburn Valley High School
Effective from: immediately.
Summary: due to a combination of changes to the location of bus stops, road layout and roadworks, there has been a slightly revised route in central Halifax. This revised route is already being followed and will now become permanent with the timetable amended accordingly. The revised route is:
AM: start at Horton Street stop number 4500-23407, then via Union Street, Prescott Street, South Parade, Shay Syke and the current route thereafter.
PM: as per the current route to Shay Syke, then via New Road and terminate at Horton Street stop 4500-23407.
