Fall Lane, Marsden

Location and details: Fall Lane Marsden is closed for Northern Gas works.

Diversion for school services:

CV1 Colne Valley High

Manchester Road, Peel Street, Carrs Road then normal route.

CV3 Colne Valley High

CV3 will use Peel Street instead of Fall Lane, turning right at the top of Peel Street and proceeding along Carrs Road as far as Fall Lane roundabout where the service will turn all the way around and resume normal route.

This will omit 3 stops, Peel Street/Manchester Road, Fall Lane/Football Club & Fall Lane/Trolley Terminus. 

Pupils for these stops will need to catch the service from Carrs Road/New Inn PH stop or Carrs Road/Peel Street.

Moor Top Lane, Flockton Moor

Dates effective: 16 Jan 2026 to 23rd Jan 2026

Location and details: Moor Top Lane, Flockton is closed due to emergency water works.

Diversion for school services:

SC1 Shelley College 

From Paul lane / Wakefield Road to continue on to Grange Moor Roundabout turning Right onto Barnsley Rd to Flockton turning right onto Pinfold Lane towards Emley, when reaching Emley turning Left onto School Street and picking up the normal route from there as far as Emley Crossroads on Westfield Lane then turning Left onto Common Lane then Right back onto Jagger lane Past Emley Moor Mast turning right down Jagger Lane to the top of Turnshaws Rd by the Junction Inn and continuing on the normal route.

The service will unfortunately be unable to serve the following stops:

Low Wood

Beaconsfield House

Linfit Lane Top

Lenacre Lane

Burton Royd lane

The Crescent
