Christmas and New Year's Travel Information 2025/2026

The summary of bus services over the holidays is outlined below - updated Wednesday 26 November 2025.
Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 December
Buses: A weekday or Saturday timetable will operate on most services. Park & Ride services will operate a normal weekday service - Park & Ride Leeds | Metro
Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 December
Buses: A weekday or a Saturday timetable will operate on most services. Services will be gradually reduced from 1800 with no services after 2000. PR1 and PR3 will operate a Saturday service. PR1 last bus from Boar Lane at 1814. PR3 last bus from Lower Briggate 1914. PR2 will not operate.
Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December
Buses: No bus services will operate except Black Prince service X51 (Morley – Leeds – St James’s University Hospital).
Boxing Day, Friday 26 December
Buses: Special services will operate, visit the Boxing Day timetable webpage. Flyer A1 between Leeds and Leeds Bradford Airport will operate a limited service. PR1, PR2 and PR3 will not operate.
Saturday 27 December
Buses: A Saturday service will operate on most services. PR1 and PR3 will operate a Saturday service. PR2 will not operate.
Sunday 28 December
Buses: A Sunday service will operate. PR3 will operate a Sunday service.
Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December
A Saturday service will operate on most services. PR1 and PR3 will operate a Saturday service. PR2 will not operate
New Year's Eve, Wednesday 31 December
Buses: A Saturday timetable will operate on most services. Services will be gradually reduced from 1800 with no services after 2000. PR1 and PR3 will operate a Saturday service. PR1 last bus from Boar Lane at 1814. PR3 last bus from Lower Briggate at 1914. PR2 will not operate.
New Year's Day, 1 Thursday January 2026
Buses: No bus services will operate.
Friday 2 January 2026
Buses: A weekday or Saturday timetable will operate on most services. PR1 and PR3 will operate a Saturday service. PR2 will not operate
