The UK’s largest annual arts and light festival, Light Night Leeds is coming back to Elland Road and Stourton Park and Ride on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 October.
For our third year running, Park and Ride isn’t just the best way to get into the city – it’s part of the show!
Elland Road Park and Ride - Interactive Rock NeON, where colour, light and music combine for a glowing welcome.
Stourton Park and Ride - The Stars Come Out at Night, a dazzling installation lighting up your journey from the very start.
Leave the hassle of traffic and parking behind and step straight into the magic of Light Night. Park free and only £3 return after 1pm and up to 3 kids go free. With frequent buses running later into the night.
Begin your Light Night journey at Elland Road or Stourton Park and Ride.

Why choose Park and Ride
- Parking is FREE!
- Buses run every 10-15 minutes from each site during peak times and a journey time of only 10-15 minutes to the city centre
- A day ticket is just £5. You can save even more if you buy in bulk; five or more tickets for £4.50 each! Or travel after 1pm from the site for just £3
- Three kids (under 19) travel FREE, with every fare-paying adult
- Weekend group day ticket - Five people travelling together is just £8
For ad hoc journeys purchase tickets on the bus or buy and store your tickets via the MCard Mobile App. For regular travellers use the MCard Mobile App or top up your Park & Ride card through the ticket machines on site or at Boar Lane Leeds.

Every site is staffed and has a heated waiting room with toilets and baby changing facilities with our Stourton site also providing a Changing Places toilet. They are all well-lit and have CCTV – plus every bus has free wi-fi and USB charging points on board so you can make the most of your journey time if you want to.
